3 months old

sleep... xavier has had one night where he slept almost 12 hours, but let me tell you the day before was not fun. he was fighting taking a nap and i needed one soooo bad. he typically wakes up once in the middle of the night, i feed him and he goes back to sleep until about 7. last night he slept through the night, but i'm not going to count on it every night! he takes a morning nap and an afternoon nap. the afternoon nap is usually the most substantial 2-3 hours. his morning naps are usually just 1 hour or maybe a couple cat naps. 

eat... xavier is being stubborn when it comes to taking bottles, but if he wants it bad enough he'll take it. it just takes a lot longer to bottle feed him vs. breast feed him. he eats about every 3-4 hours.

play... xavier loves his play mat and is definitely grabbing at toys more and kicking his feet. he manages to get his body turned somehow. he has not rolled over yet, but is starting to show signs of turning on his side. xavier loves to laugh... loud crazy laughing, just like his mommy. i love hearing him squeal. 

clothes... xavier is wearing 3-6 month stuff. i can still squeeze him in carter's 3 month onsies, but the 6 month onsies fit much better. some of his polo clothes are 9 months, but i am not sold that they are properly marked... especially when you pick them up at tj maxx. xavier is wearing a size 2 diaper, but that seems to be getting small too! 

unofficially xavier weighs 16 lbs. 

i love you so much, xavier. this week has been tough with the weight of returning to work laying on my shoulders. all i want to do is hold him and watch him. work is going to be a HUGE adjustment, but with nana watching him all day, I know he is in good hands!
