on the go

xavier enjoys being on the go all the time. he is happiest when we are moving and doesn't like to sit still. he sleeps really well in his car seat or stroller and is enjoying sleeping in his pack-n-play. he still doesn't sleep for more than 6 hour stretches, but i am sure that will come soon enough! he wakes up happy and loves to chat in the morning... it's hard to be mad when he is so happy and cute!

first trip to the beach

we enjoyed walks on the beach on most of the mornings down in jax beach. xavier rode in the actual seat of his stroller vs his car seat... he is getting so big. while in jax, xavier began holding on to his toys and reaching for toys hanging above him. he is growing so fast! we go to the doctor on friday for shots and his 2 month check-up. we are pretty sure he is going to be at the top of the charts. he is a BIG boy.

xavier did wonderful on his first flight. i was nervous, but he did amazing! he took his bottle and slept the whole time. once we boarded the plane from detroit to jax, he fell asleep again. such a good little traveler. it is a lot of work to pack for a baby, but it has been so worth it!

not too long ago i was surprised by a facebook post that had a gift waiting for me...eer xaiver! better yet i got to pick it! i love shopping, but sometimes feel a little overwhelmed. betsie and her sister, maggie, owner of the cutest baby store ever, tweed, did an amazing job coming up with some options for xavier and i got to pick with some help and input from abby, who has a great blog, just rarely blogs...just some encouragement

ok, so back to the gift, i have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the package because miss maggie is just as creative as her sister, miss betsie! (remember betsie is owner of lala land, she made that adorable shirt for xavier?!) i have never been more careful when opening a gift... this may have to be framed! too cute! x will look so cute sporting his red sun hat and stripped one piece in florida and hopefully the fourth of july too... if my big guy stops growing so fast!
