it is my first mother's day. i have been a mom for 8 days. crazy. right? i still feel like i am babysitting this little guy and he will be going home soon. reality is he is MINE, while mine and tony's, i guess i can share. i look at him and think wow, how can people not believe in God? i am loving that x is eating so well. he is a champ, although last night he thought it would be fun to wake up every 2-2.5 hours, that just does not allow for enough sleep in between for this tired momma.
we celebrated today by going to my parent's house for lunch, which is pretty typical for a sunday. we also headed out to jenison for a quick visit with tony's parents. we did not take any pictures of today. oops. i can, however, take pics of the mother's day gifts i received.
